Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” tour has taken the country by storm, with social media feeds full of pics of chic western-inspired outfits, clips of Beyoncé’s performance and outtakes of her daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi stealing the show.

Based on the Texas native’s personal connection to the hidden foundation of Black culture within country music, the surprise release of the Cowboy Carter album immediately broke records when it debuted in March 2024.

And in anticipation of the haters who would blast the project because they didn’t want to see a Black woman lassoing the top spot on the country charts, she cut them off at the draw.

“This ain’t a Country album,” she declared on Instagram before the album’s release. “This is a ‘Beyoncé’ album.”

With tracks like “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” seamlessly blending country music with hip-hop beats and swag, it became the first album by a Black woman to top the Top Country Albums chart. The release also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and broke streaming records on platforms like Spotify and Amazon Music.

After receiving 11 Grammy nominations, Cowboy Carter won three of the coveted wards in 2025: Album of the Year, Best Country Album, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus.

According to Billboard, the tour performances at Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium took in $55.7 million, scoring the highest-grossing single-venue engagement by a woman in Boxscore history.

And the four shows at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on July 10-14 promise to be just as epic.

Thankfully, all the excitement surrounding the tour isn’t limited to those who snagged coveted tickets to the show at State Farm Arena.
