As summer comes to a close and metro Atlanta students head back to school next month, the time to start assembling school supplies officially begins.
To help parents manage their shopping budgets, churches, libraries, schools, and community organizations across the metro area are coming together to offer free supplies and host fun family events.
Thursday, July 23
“It Takes a Village” School Supplies Giveaway (District 5 residents only)
The drive-thru giveaway for school supplies is limited to two backpacks per registered vehicle. A valid ID is required. RSVP here.

DeKalb County School District “Day One Ready” Back to School Bash
School supplies will be available at the event, which includes academic support, health screenings, and entertainment. Pre-registration is required. Register here.

Families First Annual Back-to-School Bash
